About

We work with organisations operating in complex digital environments where existing Trust & Safety or safeguarding approaches are under strain.

Our focus is safeguarding architecture, decision-making, and escalation—helping leadership teams understand how risk is identified, managed, and held in practice.

About Emma Parfitt

"I was tired of watching systems fail—not because people didn't care, but because the architecture couldn't hold."

I spent over a decade in social work and child protection. I've sat in case conferences, made safeguarding referrals, and watched systems fail children—not because people didn't care, but because the architecture couldn't hold.

When I moved into digital safeguarding, I saw the same patterns. Platforms with extensive policies but unclear escalation. Trust & Safety teams inheriting risk that had compounded long before it reached them. Leadership asking 'are we compliant?' when the real question was 'would this hold under pressure?'

I founded Libran Global Safeguarding because I believe safeguarding is an infrastructure challenge, not a policy exercise. And because most consultants are selling reassurance, not clarity.

I'm not here to make you fit into the system. I'm here to help you build one that works.

How We Work

We support organisations that are willing to examine how safeguarding operates under real-world pressure. Our work prioritises clarity, accountability, and sustainability over reassurance or appearance.

01.

Systems, Not Just Policies

We look at how safeguarding decisions are actually made, not what the documentation says.

02.

Honest Assessment

We tell you what we find, not what you want to hear. Clarity over reassurance.

03.

Defined Scope

We define scope clearly and stick to it. No scope creep, no endless engagements.

04.

Clean Exit

We leave when the work is done. We don't create dependency.

Scope

What We Don't Offer

We're explicit about what's outside our scope. This isn't false modesty—it's about ensuring fit.

  • Ongoing consultancy or retained advisory arrangements
  • Policy rewriting services
  • Operational safeguarding cover
  • Compliance-led or reputational work
  • Content moderation or enforcement services

If you're looking for someone to write policies, provide ongoing advisory, or give you a compliance stamp, we're not the right fit.

If you want to understand whether your safeguarding architecture would hold under pressure, we should talk.
